CHANNEL ZERO #3: BUTCHER'S BLOCK

The third  autonomous  chapter of the horror anthology ''channel zero'' maybe hit the jackpot, because the ''butcher's block'' is one of the most bizarre and horrifying story that aired not only from the name series but in general. First of all, the poverty in a deserted town is the perfect set for the two sisters to discover the ''hospitality'' of a family of ghosts that rules this block, the Butcher's block,
a town deserted with a creepy park with weird critters lurking at night.
The one thing that unified the seasons are the things that appeared out of a thin air. In ''Candle Cove'' the puppets program. In ''no end-house'' the house that leads to the parallel universe. In ''Butcher's block'' a staircase and the door in the park.
A family with the dad Joseph Pitch/ Rutger Hauer it is!
with the need to replace his two dead daughters. Creepy situations as the night dinner with the family in the park
and the weird embodiment of the disease of ''schizophrenia'' as this critter, find deep inside in the brain, because one of the basic things to the sisters, is the fear to get sick by schizophrenia, gift heritage from their mother.
''Butcher's Block'' is the third and probably the best chapter on ''Channel Zero''. A compelling story, a blast from the 50's commercial
and a story about ghosts and mental illness, the fear to get sick and stay behind, a murder in the family and a weird door leads to...Trailer and with only six episodes, ''Channel Zero'' stays alive and more powerful than before. 8,5/10
