THE X-FILES #11: SCULLY'S SON

The previous season, marked as a limited series event, season 10, ends with a cliffhanger. 

The post-apocalyptic dream that Scully had, is not only  the beginning of a great storyline for this season, because we need to be truthful about one thing. Season 10 was a mess. Maybe Chris Carter wants to do a parody of X-files and the total sum wasnt'X-files, but rather a vast reminder of what it was. And then, the two last episodes brings back all the glory. Ufo invation, shared dreams with their lost son William, and Scully back to season 2 , when the first abduction was done. Yeap, X-files are back and the new season has everything a fan want. the new chase to find their lost son William, aparently a teenager with powers/blame it all to the alien dna of Scully/Season 2 for more clues/ but most shocking revelations about who is truly the father and what is the deal with Skinner. After so many years, friend or foe or someone with his own demons to deal?

Scully is now at the front of this season. A mother at distress and a woman with needs.

Season 11 will remind you all that stuff that made X-Files an icon to tv history. As a huge fan of the show/ still watching reruns when the time is right/ there is no better time for this show to continue. I get it, ATIA and ufo abductions are not anymore trendy, but what about biohazard weapons and a son with the ability to destroy in a second? What about the ark with the souls?

Even if Scully doesnt want to continue with season 12, well, there is Mulder and William, so much things to do and see, and yes, we will follow again and again, because the truth is still out there, but with a different form. The extinction of the human race and the rehabilation of the chosens, is not the work of the ''little green men'', but rather from a hand that reeks of smoke, a hand who operates years now from the shadows. A greedy hand for power. That is the bitter truth. Mulder and Scully now they facing the most difficult challenge of their career. The plain human with the huge appetite for destruction. The wrong kind of paranormal.
