THE LEFTOVERS #3: THE FINAL SEASON

After seven episodes with  bizarre and weird situations, with the most surrealistic look from any other series/yes, thats includes the new Twin Peaks!/ the series finale coming with the tenth anniversary of the departed and a flood that is not going to drown the remaining humanity, so, what happens next? Kevin is the new prophet, some kind of Jesus mode with the ability to switch in the two parallels worlds 

or a wounded man with the ability to lose whoever he loves?

Nora is going to end her life like a fucking cartoon, zap and gone! in the outskirts of Australia

or something entirelly else is cooked for the series finale of ''the Leftovers'', a series that made me jump with the outstanding cast and the plot punch to the sleepy easy-going minds. From the beginning of the season, all are prepared for the end of the world. 

Its almost certain and even the new ''death'' of Kevin is not powerful to stop it. 

But is the end of the world that sucker punch almost all the characters or the relationships and the feelings are all ready take the wrong and only turn with the event of the departure? Can a crazy sex orgy in a ship ease the heart from the sadeness, are you feeling whole when a god with a hat roaming at the deck throwing people overboard and telling whatever he wants just to make you think? And this is only an episode from ''Leftovers'', a series so damn complicated and refreshing to the religions stereotypes and myths, something to bother you when Kevin dies again and wakes up with an indentical twin brother assasin and him the president of the departed. Even death is not permanent, rather a mockery to fear and despair, when the countdown begins for a second departure?

I am a huge fan of ''Leftovers'' and surely i will miss it. The craziness. The emptiness. The big dong , the first ever scene of the first episode. Carrie Coon and the performance that makes me scream. The concept of something so surreal that dare to invade in tv screens. A series finale made of hope or just give in to smoke?For me, the ''Leftovers'' is a love story between Kevin and Nora, and how we reinvented ourselves when tragedy hits. A love story of modern ages, the rest are just girbish. 10/10
