BROADCHURCH #3: THE RAPE

After almost two years hiatus, ''Broadchurch'' returns with the third and final season, and with an all new mystery case for Hardy and Miller. An all new case with a ''classic'' theme of a rapist serial, and all the action begins when Trish, a divorced mother with a common look get raped at the party of her best friend, and to be honest, i am most surprised with the preference of the rapist-not the most attractive woman!-

and a big question mark about this season. It is miles away from the first season, less boring than the second season, but somebody will tell that for a final season, ''Broadchurch'' is at very low pace. I get it, a village full of suspects, an amazing duo full of chemistry

a new difficult case, but still have the taste that the original case never really solved. So the Latimers, especially Mark, who is not going to give up the tragic fate of his son.

Maybe '' Broadchurch'' wants a clean slate for the final season, but the big hit of the show was all the dirty things do the common people and never learn, the secrets and the betrayals, a village ready to exposed when the young body found in the beach. This season is just a typical crime story with the original story as secondary. I am not really care ''who rape Trish?'' because its a new face and no time for bonding, but i will enjoy the astounding work of Hardy and Miller/Tennant-Colman/ and bow again for a last time. Still a huge fan!       8,5/10
