CHANNEL ZERO: CANDLE COVE

A strange guy named Mike Painter, psychologist with severe own psychological problems, returns to his hometown in order to unravel the disappearance of his twin brother Eddie and the murders of four children since 1988, has remained a mystery. A creepy tv show with puppets returns in a new generation of children

called '' Candle Cove '', a children's show that only children can see as hypnotized watching television. Nope, not Freddy, not the '' poltergeist '' but the new anthology horror series of Syfy turning children tattered 80's puppets in absolute terror. Static for adults. Trailer.

Though this is the atmosphere of '' Silent Hill '' in installments of '' It '' and sometimes creepy

a good script idea running quickly with the boring nature of the adult Mike-slap him to wake him up! -

and the bizarre almost non existance connection between puppets and freaks displayed as the Tooth Child. If perhaps this idea was in the hands of American Horror Story team will take off. Here lives a boring slow pace and a pervasive sense of stupidity in concept. Six episodes of the first season and independent. I wonder how will slightly accelerate the pace in only four episodes. On the other hand, great promo art.

 Ένας περίεργος τύπος ονόματι Mike Painter, παιδοψυχολόγος με σοβαρά δικά του ψυχολογικά προβλήματα, επιστρέφει στη γενέτειρά του με σκοπό να εξιχνιάσει την εξαφάνιση του δίδυμου αδελφού του Eddie αλλά και τη δολοφονία τεσσάρων παιδιών που από το 1988 έχει παραμείνει μυστήριο. Ενα creepy tv show με μαριονέτες επιστρέφει σε μια νέα γενιά παιδιών

 ονόματι ''Candle Cove'', ένα παιδικό show που μόνο τα παιδιά μπορούν να δουν καθώς υπνωτίζονται μπροστά στην τηλεόραση. Nope, δεν είναι ο Freddy, δεν είναι το ''poltergeist'' αλλά η νέα σειρά anthology horror του Syfy μετατρέποντας παιδικές κουρελιασμένες 80's μαριονέτες στον απόλυτο τρόμο. Static για τους ενήλικες.  Αν και έχει αυτή την ατμόσφαιρα ''Silent Hill'' με δόσεις ''It'' και πολλές φορές creepy

 μια καλή σεναριακή ιδέα εξαντλείται στα γρήγορα με το βαρετό χαρακτήρα του ενήλικου Mike-slap him to wake him up!-

 και το ασύνδετο ανάμεσα στις μαριονέτες και στα freaks που εμφανίζονται όπως το Tooth Child. Αν ίσως η ιδέα αυτή ήταν στα χέρια της ομάδας του American Horror Story θα απογειωνόταν. Εδώ μένει σε αργούς βαρετούς ρυθμούς και σε μια διάχυτη αίσθηση βλακείας στο concept. Έξι επεισόδια ο πρώτος κύκλος και αυτοτελής. Αναρωτιέμαι πως θα επιταχύνει λίγο τον ρυθμό σε τέσσερα μόνο επεισόδια. Από την άλλη, υπέροχο promo art. 7/10
