Έχετε ποτε σκεφτεί πόσοι έχουν γενέθλια όπως εσείς την ίδια μέρα και την ίδια χρονιά; Πόσες διαφορετικές ζωές έχουν αυτό το κοινό σημείο των γενεθλίων, τη μέρα εκείνη που τόσο διαφορετικά γιορτάζεται για τον καθένα μας; To ''This is us'' παρουσιάζει τρία διαφορετικά ζευγάρια, τη μέρα των γενεθλίων του ενός. Milo Ventimiglia/Mady Moore περιμένοντας τον ερχομό των τρίδυμων

τα γενέθλια του Kevin και η απόφαση να τα τινάξει όλα στον αέρα ενώ η αδελφή του Kate περνάει τα γενέθλιά της με την απόφαση να χάσει βάρος

αλλά και romantically involved με νέο ισως έρωτα

ενώ ο Randall τη μέρα των γενεθλίων του βρίσκει τον βιολογικό του πατέρα.

 

Τρία ζευγάρια, τρία γενέθλια με τον αριθμό 36, τρεις φαινομενικά τουλάχιστον διαφορετικές ιστορίες μεταξύ τους, μόνο που στο τέλος όλα βγάζουν νόημα και ενώνονται με τον καλύτερο τρόπο. Ανθρώπινες ιστορίες, απλές και καθημερινές, τι πραγματικά κάνει τόσο μοναδικό το ''This is us?'' και ξεχωρίζει; Trailer!

  

Ιστορίες ανθρώπων που γεννήθηκαν την ίδια μέρα. Οικογένεια. Παρελθόν παρόν σε ιστορίες καθημερινότητας που δεν περιμένεις το μεγάλο cliffhanger και τα big twists. Ένα μεγάλο μέρος της επιτυχίας του ''This is us'' πέρα από τη σφιχτοδεμενη ροή οφείλεται στις ερμηνείες. Ο Millo Ventimiglia ίσως και στον καλύτερο ρόλο του σε τηλεοπτική σειρά

  ενώ πολύ καλός στο ρόλο ηθοποιού που αποφασίζει να αποτινάξει από πάνω του το σύστημα ο Justin Hartley

 

σε άνοδο από τον crappy ρόλο στο ''Revenge.'' To ''This is us'' αποκτά πολυπλοκότητα μέσα από την απλότητα και τη σαφήνεια. Από τις νέες σειρές που ξεκίνησαν αυτή την εβδομάδα, σίγουρα αξίζει παραπάνω από μια ματιά. 9/10
