Musical drama series which never saw if it was not the amazing creator Baz Luhrmann who manages to create a less fancy black '' Moulin Rouge '' but equally impressive and certainly more politicized and compact. The poverty. Dreams and the birth of a Bronx full of love, dance, and in the middle of, a train with graffity separating them with New York. Purity in gaze Buz Luhrmann regarding the leading duo

theatricality in words but also a Bronx who have not completely sprinkled with gold dust, makes '' The get-down '' not only stands out, but certainly starring the favorites shows for this summer. This strange mix of hip-hop / disco / early rap compilation, photography, the Fantastic Four plus One

the definition of what it really means '' the get-down '', and Luhrmann leaves the extravagant stamp on a project that worked almost ten years. Six episodes of the first part. Check it out and whisper with rhythm the great successes of that golden Era both on the course of music and social status of the black society.

Grandmaster, wordsmith, graffity, heat, και το Les Infernos ανοίγει τις πόρτες του Σάββατο βράδυ για disco dance marathon μέχρι τελικής πτώσης, χρωματίζοντας ένα τελείως διαφορετικό ''Saturday Night Fever'' με τα χρώματα μιας μαύρης κοινότητας έτοιμη να διεκδικήσει μια θέση καθώς τα όνειρα συνοδεύονται από τυχαία πιστολίδια και underground clubs όπου μια καλή στιχομυθία σε challenge μπορεί να σε βγάλει απ' την αφάνεια του ghetto.Όταν τα σχολεία κλείνουν, ο Ezekiel με τους καταγαιστικούς στίχους ενάντια σε μια κοινωνία που εχει μόνιμα την πλάτη γυρισμένη

θα γίνει ο ''wordsmith'' του Shaolin Fantastic, παιδιού του δρόμου που ονειρεύεται να γίνει ο επόμενος Grandmaster

 

ενώ η Mylene, αν και κόρη αυστηρού ιερέα, θα κάνει τα πάντα για να γίνει η επόμενη Disco Queen, αποκτώντας μια θέση δίπλα στη Donna Summer και στη Misty Halloway, fictional character,

 εύκολη πάσα για Pakoussa Remix ή καλύτερα για ost που περιμένεις να βγει σε βινύλιο καθώς η μουσική επένδυση είναι απλά Amazing!!! Musical drama series κάτι που δεν θα έβλεπα ποτέ αν δεν ήταν του καταπληκτικού δημιουργού Baz Luhrmann που καταφέρνει να δημιουργήσει ένα λιγότερο φανταχτερό black ''Moulin Rouge'' αλλά εξίσου εντυπωσιακό και σίγουρα πιο πολιτικοποιημένο και συμπαγές. H μουσική . Η ένταση. Hip-hop challenges. Disco. Funky Music. Ο αντίζηλος για την καρδιά της Mylene, Cadillac.

Η φτώχεια. Τα όνειρα και η γέννηση ενός Bronx γεμάτο έρωτα, χορό, και στη μέση ένα τραίνο με graffity να χωρίζει αυτούς με τη Νεα Υορκη. Η καθαρότητα στο βλέμμα του Buz Luhrmann όσο αφορά το πρωταγωνιστικό δίδυμο

η θεατρικότητα στα λόγια αλλά και ένα Bronx που δεν το πασπαλίζει ολοκληρωτικά με χρυσόσκονη, κάνει το ''The get-down'' όχι μόνο να ξεχωρίζει αλλά σίγουρα να πρωταγωνιστεί στα φαβορί αυτού του καλοκαιριού. Αυτή η περίεργη μίξη hip-hop/disco/early rap compilation, η φωτογραφία, οι Fantastic Four plus One

 ο ορισμός του τι πραγματικά σημαίνει ''the get-down'', και ο Luhrmann αφήνει την φαντασμαγορική του σφραγίδα σε ένα project που το δούλεψε σχεδόν δέκα χρόνια. Έξι επεισόδια το πρώτο μέρος. Δες το και σιγοψιθύρισε και εσύ τις μεγάλες επιτυχίες εκείνης της χρυσής εποχής τόσο για την πορεία της μουσικής όσο και της κοινωνικής θέσης της μαύρης κοινωνίας.
