DEAD OF SUMMER: NOT CRYSTAL LAKE CAMP

To make a successful horror series 80 's with camp, beyond the legendary Jason Voorhees, you need the following ingredients.

-Creepy Camp with bloody past. Forgotten in time. With lake full of fog at night. CHECK.  

- Horny teenagers with shadowy past and future consumable. The slut. The bitch. the good. the geek. the gay. The girl boy. The crazy ones. CHECK.

-Two names decoys to have familiar faces to see. In '' Dead of Summer '' is the Elizabeth Mitchell in the role of cougar Director Deb and Elizabeth Lail in the role of new camper, where Amy has come for completely different reason though. CHECK.

-Of course Sex or at least foreplays as we talking about minors. CHECK

- Bonfires and backstabbings.CHECK

-Creepy dreams and real deaths. CHECK

-And For the end of course, the big bad slasher who slashes and chasing campers. The Tall Man. Vengeful spirit ready to bloodshed the already deranged population of the camp. CHECK.

WTF then? What the heck is happening and '' Dead of Summer '' easily changes its name to '' Boring of the Summer '' because such disaster slasher I had not seen a long time. Boring. Nearly everyone in the cast expendable and really do not give a damn about anyone. Without flow. A Plan.A fucking mess from the creators of '' Once upon a time'' -perhaps they get lucky with the ''Once upon''-and with stories of  the past of campers, only that here the stories, are without any inspiration into one-dimensional characters.I think  just ''bought'' the first position from the second season of Scream Series-comes the turn! -as Regards plot and fear. Come on now, you can do much much better!  

Clever trick with horror posters only actually the horror is who  approved to go into the series the recurring scenario of '' Dead of Summer ''. Stick with Pretty Little Liars, oh, and i miss Camp Crystal Lake too. 5,5 / 10 Trailer!

Για να κάνεις μια πετυχημένη horror σειρά 80's με κατασκήνωση , πέρα από τον θρυλικό Jason Voorhees, χρειάζεσαι τα εξής συστατικά.

- Κατασκήνωση creepy με bloody παρελθόν. Ξεχασμένη στο χρόνο. Με λίμνη γεμάτο ομίχλη το βραδυ.CHECK.

- Ηorny teenagers με σκιώδη παρελθόν και αναλώσιμο μέλλον. Τhe slut. The bitch. the good. the geek. the gay. The girl boy. The crazy ones. CHECK.

 - Δύο κράχτες ονόματα για να έχεις γνώριμα πρόσωπα να δεις. Στο ''Dead of Summer'' έχει την Elizabeth Mitchell στο ρόλο της cougar διευθύντριας Deb και την Elizabeth Lail στο ρόλο της νέας ομαδάρχισσας Amy όπου έχει έρθει για τελείως όμως διαφορετικό λόγο. CHECK.

- Sex of course ή τουλάχιστον foreplays καθώς μιλάμε για ανήλικα.CHECK

-Και για το τέλος βέβαια, ο big bad slasher που πετσοκόβει και κυνηγάει τους κατασκηνωτές. The Tall Man. Εκδικητικό πνεύμα έτοιμο να αιματοκυλίσει το ήδη διαταραγμένο πληθυσμό της κατασκήνωσης. CHECK.

WTF τότε; Τι στο καλό συμβαίνει και το ''Dead of Summer'' αλλάζει εύκολα τίτλο σε ''Boring of the Summer'' γιατί τέτοιο disaster slasher είχα να δω πολύ καιρό. Βαρετό. Όλοι σχεδόν στο cast αναλώσιμοι και πραγματικά δεν δίνεις δεκάρα για κανέναν. Χωρίς ροή. Πλάνο. Α fucking mess from the creators of ''Once upon a time''-σταθήκανε ίσως τυχεροί με το Once upon-και με past stories των campers μόνο που εδώ οι ιστορίες είναι χωρίς καμία έμπνευση σε μονοδιάστατους χαρακτήρες.Νομίζω ότι μόλις πήρε την πρώτη θέση από τον δεύτερο κύκλο του Scream Series-έρχεται και η σειρά του!-όσο αφορά πλοκή και φόβο. Ελάτε τώρα, μπορείτε και πολύ πιο καλύτερα!

Έξυπνο το κόλπο με τα horror posters μόνο που στην πραγματικότητα το horror είναι ποιος ενέκρινε να βγει σε σειρά το τόσο επαναλαμβανόμενο σενάριο του ''Dead of Summer''. Stick with Pretty Little Liars, oh, and i miss Camp Crystal Lake too. 5,5/10 Trailer!
