PREACHER: THE CHURCH IS ON FIRE

 The 66 issues of Preacher, from Vertigo comics released in 1995-2000, brought the vulgar humor and antichrist in top levels of nonconformity in comics thus far with the classic recipe. Garth Ennis/Steve Dillon and Preacher remains in the history of comics of the most ingenious 'blaspemy' masterpiece where sales up to now remain in accretive levels. Does the TV Preacher can represent the all time classic comic or simply remains a '' drag '' for all of us who first met in the paper?'' Preacher'' brings familiar bizarre characters

as the main protagonist Jesse Custer, criminal then / preacher now looking for the path that is mapped from God

the vampire Cassidy and fun accomplice in crime Tulip 'O Hare

Eugene with the more well-known name '' Arseface''

      the two Adelphi angels

and all this paranoid structure of blasphemous comic comes to TV Preacher with great interest and perhaps a more light gore look than i prefer, but we are still at the beginning. My only objection is perhaps the choice of Preacher-Dominic Cooper-as I believe that new immaculate person would be closer to the persona of Preacher. Trailer.

Certainly,'' Preacher'' moved very close to the comic but the atmosphere and the bloody gore fun cannot be captured by anything on the small screen. Nor, of course, and the dialogues that you need it at least an hour to read an issue.Nice try, but I think that something is missing. There has yet to find its rhythm and maybe have relied much on the huge popularity of the comic ,thereby, blurring the characters and finally being confused for the religious beliefs, although of course there are, for the Preacher, and swung a tendency for atheism but in a coward way.Expecting perhaps the reactions of the average television audience that doesn't want to see or hear'' to blaspheme the Jesus'' and all ?But this is Preacher. A horror fun blasphemy parody on religion and hillbillies characters. 8.5 / 10

 Τα 66 τεύχη του Preacher, από Vertigo comics που κυκλοφόρησαν το 1995-2000, έφεραν το χυδαίο και antichrist humor σε κορυφαία επίπεδα αντισυμβατικότητας στα μέχρι τώρα comics με την κλασική συνταγή.Garth Ennis-Steve Dillon και το Preacher μένει στην ιστορία των comics από τα πιο ευρηματικά ''αφορεσμένα'' masterpiece όπου μέχρι και τώρα οι πωλήσεις παραμένουν σε αυξητικά επίπεδα. Άραγε το τηλεοπτικό Preacher μπορεί να αντιπροσωπεύσει το all time classic comic ή απλά παραμένει μια ''τζούρα'' για όλους εμάς που πρώτα το γνωρίσαμε στο χαρτί; To Preacher φέρνει τους γνωστούς bizarre χαρακτήρες

όπως τον βασικό πρωταγωνιστή Jesse Custer, criminal then/ preacher now ψάχνοντας το δρόμο που του χάραξε ο Θεός

το vampire Cassidy και την συνεργό στο fun έγκλημα Tulip 'O Hare

τον Eugene η με το πιο γνωστό όνομα''Arseface''

και όλη αυτή η παρανοϊκή βλάσφημη δομή του comic έρχεται στο τηλεοπτικό Preacher με μεγάλο ενδιαφέρον και ίσως με μια πιο light gore ματιά απ'οτι θα ήθελα αλλά ακόμα είμαστε στην αρχή. Η μοναδική μου ίσως αντίρρηση είναι στην επιλογή του Preacher-Dominic Cooper-καθώς πιστεύω ότι νέο άσπιλο πρόσωπο θα ήταν και πιο κοντά στην θεματολογία. Trailer.

Σίγουρα το Preacher κινείται πολύ κοντά στο comic αλλά η ατμόσφαιρα και το bloody gore fun δεν μπορεί με τίποτα να αποτυπωθεί στη μικρή οθόνη. Ούτε βέβαια και οι διάλογοι που χρειαζόσουν τουλάχιστον μία ώρα για να διαβάσεις ένα τεύχος. Καλή προσπάθεια αλλά νομίζω ότι κάτι του λείπει. Δεν έχει βρει ακόμα τον ρυθμό του και ίσως έχει στηριχθεί πολύ στην τεράστια απήχηση του comic με αποτέλεσμα να θολώνουν οι χαρακτήρες και τελικά να είσαι μπερδεμένος για τις θρησκευτικές πεποιθήσεις, αν βέβαια υπάρχουν του Preacher, και να αιωρείται μια τάση για αθεϊσμό αλλά με έναν δειλό τρόπο. Περιμένοντας ίσως τις αντιδράσεις του μέσου τηλεοπτικού κοινού που δεν θέλουν να βλασφημούν τον Jesus και ότι έχει να κάνει με αυτό; Το Preacher όμως αυτό είναι. Μια horror fun blasphemy parody σε θρησκεία και hillbillies χαρακτήρες. 8,5/10
