Το κεντρί του σκορπιού δεν φοβίζει πια τη Vanessa που μέσα στην απόλυτη μοναξιά δίνει μια ευκαιρία στο ρομάντζο στον διευθυντή του μουσείου φυσικής Ιστορίας

ένα ρομάντζο με το απόλυτο κακό, τον δίδυμο αδελφό του Lucifer Dracula, που σε κάνει να απορείς για την κακοτυχία της Vanessa, τόσο στον έρωτα όσο και στην έλξη της προς το σκοτάδι. Poor Vanessa, beware of the Night Creatures,

 ένα παρελθόν που ίσως θα φέρει την ευτυχία στην τραγική φιγούρα του Creature

 αλλά και την αιώνια καταδίκη για τον Ethan Chandler καθώς η επιστροφή του στο πατρικό θα μας δείξει το story origin του λύκου που καλύτερα να μην είχε ειπωθεί ποτέ και μας συστήνει την Apatchi καταγωγή όπως το ''Penny Dreadful'' μόνο ξέρει.

Ο τρίτος κύκλος επισφραγίζει αυτό που όλοι γνωρίζουμε. Masterpiece. Σε αυτόν τον κύκλο περιορίζει λίγο τη λυρικότητα του λόγου, σκιαγραφεί με αριστοτεχνικό τρόπο τους ήδη ''καταραμένους'' χαρακτήρες βουτώντας στα βαθιά μαύρα νερά του παρελθόντος αλλά και του παρόντος.Το πρώτο φεμινιστικό κίνημα δημιουργείται από την οργισμένη Lily/Brona, ένας στρατός από πουτάνες και απόκληρες

ένας οργισμένος γυναικείος όχλος ενάντια στην αντρική καταπίεση. Hint. Ο ερχομός του Dr.Jekyl στη σειρά θα είναι και απόλυτα καθοριστικός για την πορεία της Lily/Brona.

Μια καταπληκτική συνέχεια σε μια καταπληκτική σειρά. Μένεις άφωνος από την ερμηνεία της Eva Green σε αυτούς τους κακοφορμισμένους μονολόγους που σε κάνει να ανατριχιάζεις κοιτώντας αμήχανα γύρω σου. Ένα επεισόδιο πριν το season finale. Ένα επεισόδιο για αιματοκύλισμα ξανά.
